We regret to announce the passing of Mr. Jehu Nathaniel Lovett, Jr., age 81, who passed away February 10, 2012 at Seminole Manor Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held on February 11, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville, GA with Dr. Ron McCaskill officiating. Interment will be held February 12, 2012 at Parkway Memorial Gardens in Warner Robins, GA. Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 PM at Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville, GA. Mr. Lovett was born in Elberton, GA on April 7, 1930 to the late Henry Leonard and Viola Hall Lovett. He worked as a construction manager, was a member of Byron Baptist Church, where he was a member of the brotherhood, Clams Sunday School Class and served on the building committee. He was active in Boy Scouts and was a Little League Baseball coach. He also served his country in the US Army during the Korean conflict. He is survived by sons, Terrence Wayne Lovett and his wife Jackie of Lexington, SC; Gary Lamar Lovett, Sr and his wife Virginia of Manor, GA and Ronald Henry Lovett of Lake Charles, LA; daughter, SanDee Lovett Brookins and her husband Brian of Donalsonville, GA and sister, Tincie Lovett Hammock and her husband Marion of Macon, GA. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Leonard and Viola Hall Lovett; his wife, Gwendolyn Marie Wood Lovett; brother, Jasper Lovett; sister, Allie Lovett Fullmore, son, Jehu Nathaniel Lovett, Jr. and 3 great grandchildren..
