We regret to announce the passing of Bonita Cross Henry, age 53, of Donalsonville, GA who passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2012 at the Donalsonville Hospital. Funeral services for Mrs. Henry will be held on Sunday, January 22, 2012 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Dr. Gary Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery in Iron City, GA. Visitation will be held Saturday, January 21, 2012 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Evans-Skipper Funeral Home. She was born in, GA on December 19, 1958 to the late Bazel Eugene and Doris Cash Cross. She will be remembered as owning Gateway restaurant in Donalsonville, GA. She loved her family, and was a people person. She is survived by her husband of Melvin Henry of Donalsonville, GA; children, Jarred Henry and Justin Henry and his wife Crystal both of Donalsonville, GA; Jaromy Henry and his wife Myrna Rose of Dothan, AL, Cindy Henry Dunaway and her husband Ron of Albany, GA; daughter-in-law, Claudine Henry and children Kaitlin and Blaine of Sarasota, FL;brother, Kenny Cross of Foley, AL; sister, Cleo Braswell and her husband James of Bainbridge, GA; numerous nieces,nephews and cousins. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Brett Ingram, Andrew Ingram, Ally Haire, Nathan Henry, and Myranda Henry. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bazel Eugene and Doris Cash Cross, brothers, Ronald Cross, Gene Cross and Bobby Pitts. Casketbearers will be Patch Price, Ralph Jones, Brett Ingram, Andrew Ingram, Brad Ingram, and Billy Cross. Honorary casketbearers will be the employees of the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office and all other law enforcement and emergency personal. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
