PAUL RAYMOND DICKERSON

We regret to announce the passing of Mr. Paul Raymond "Ray" Dickerson, age 66, of Donalsonville, GA who passed away Tuesday, August 14, 2007 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan, AL. Memorial services for Mr. Dickerson will be held on Thursday, August 16, 2007 at 3:00 PM at the chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Rev. Kirk Loyless officiating. Mr. Dickerson was born in South Bend, Indiana on March 15, 1941 to Paul and Muriel Dillard Dickerson.He was a brick mason and served his country in the United States Army where he was a paratrooper with the 101st Airborne Division. He was also a Mason, Shriner, and an avid scuba diver. He was a member of the Methodist faith. Mr. Dickerson leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Lynn Dickerson of Donalsonville, GA; his parents, Paul and Muriel Dickerson of Franklin, Indiana; three sons, Carroll Dickerson and his wife Anne of Indianapolis, Indiana, Master Sgt. John Dickerson and his wife Mitzi of Travis Air Force Base, California, and Kevin Smith and his wife Amy of Newfield, New York; a daughter, Rachel Newman and her husband Ben of Portsmouth, Virginia; a brother, John Dickerson and his wife Jeannie of Franklin, Indiana; a niece Shellie Whitmore and her husband Bryan and a nephew, Keith Dickerson; as well as 7 grandchildren. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
