We regret to announce the passing of Mr. Leroy Lewis, age 65, of Donalsonville, GA who passed away Friday, December 30, 2011 at the Donalsonville Hospital. Funeral services for Mr. Lewis will be held on Monday, January 2, 2012, at 11:00 AM at in the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Rev. James Scarborough officiating. Burial will follow at Oakview Church of God Cemetery in Donalsonville,GA. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service Monday, January 2, 2012 from 10:00-11:00 PM at Evans-Skipper Funeral Home. Mr. Lewis was born in Donalsonville, GA on July 5, 1946 to late Jake and Vera Danford Lewis. He attended Seminole County High School and worked at Buddy’s Grocery Store. He is survived by one brother, Raymond Lewis of Jakin, GA; cousin, Wylene C. Moseley and her husband John of Jakin, GA; and caretaker, Edna Hagler. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jake and Vera Danford Lewis and two brothers, Robert Lewis and Malcom Lewis. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements
