We regret to announce the passing of Mr. Billy Brooks Hall, age 76, of Tallahassee, FL and formerly of Iron City, GA who passed away, Friday morning December 2, 2011 at his residence. A celebration of life service will be held on Sunday, December 4, 2011 at Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville at 2:00 PM with Rev. Jimmy Hornsby officiating. A private family interment will be held at Friendship Cemetery in Donalsonville, GA. Billy was born in Decatur, GA on March 26, 1935 to the late Evie Hornsby Hall and Judson Brooks Hall. He was a lifetime member of Parkway Baptist Church. He loved his family and loved selling cars. After growing up on his family farm Iron City, he joined the army and attended University of Georgia. He and his family moved to Tallahassee in 1963 and he worked for several car dealerships, eventually opening his own used car lots. He retired from the car business in 2005. He is survived by his caregiver and wife of 40 plus years, Lounette C. Hall, daughter, Harriet Hall Oliff and her husband Dave of Tallahassee, FL; son, Sidney Brooks Hall and his wife Karen of Monticello, FL; daughter, Susan Hall McKendree and her husband Greg of Tallahassee, FL; brother, Sidney Jack Hall of Jacksonville, FL. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren Brandon Hall, Morgan Oliff, Andrew McKendree, Kaley Hall, Meredyth Oliff Hall, Madison Oliff, Kendall McKendree, Mallory Oliff, Monroe Oliff, Courtney McKendree, Melanie Oliff, Dustin McKendree and Moriah Oliff and 3 great grandchildren Karter Hall, Katherine Oliff and Rose Oliff. He was preceded in death by his parents; Evie Hornsby Hall and Judson Brooks Hall and a brother, E. E. Hall.
