We regret to announce the passing of Mr. Charles Raymond Whitaker, age 55, of Bainbridge, GA who passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at Wedowee Hospital in Wedowee, AL. Funeral services for Mr. Whitaker will be held on Friday, November 25, 2011, at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Dr. Johnny Roberts officiating. Burial will follow at Friendship Cemetery in Donalsonville, GA. Visitation will be held Friday, November 25, 2011 from 2:00-3:00 PM at Evans-Skipper Funeral Home. He was born in Donalsonville, GA on February 5, 1956 to Ruby Jewel Smith Whitaker and the late James Otis Whitaker. He graduated from Seminole County High School in1974; worked in Management at Amoco Fabrics in Bainbridge for 32 years. He was presently employed with Mohawk Industries. He is survived by his wife Kaye Sandlin Whitaker of Bainbridge, GA; his mother Ruby Jewel S. Whitaker of Donalsonville, GA; one daughter, Meghan Whitaker of Augusta, GA; three brothers, James Whitaker and his wife Alice; Philip Whitaker and his wife Darlene both of Donalsonville, GA Harry Whitaker and his wife Linda of Fairburn, GA; two sisters, Frances North and her husband Buddy; Becky Breckenridge both of Donalsonville, GA; father and mother-in-law, Ferris Sandlin and his wife June of Brinson, GA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, James Otis Whitaker. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements
