We regret to announce the passing of Mrs. Estelle DuPriest, age 80, of Donalsonville who passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2007 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan, AL. Graveside services will be held Saturday, July 21, 2007 at 11:00 AM at Friendship Cemetery in Donalsonville with Rev. Luther Hastey and Rev. Herman Enfinger officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, July 20, from 5:00-7:00 PM at Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville. Mrs. DuPriest was born in Jackson County, FL on October 29, 1926 to the late Jason Taylor, Sr. and Amanda "Minnie" Weeks Tipton. She worked as a nurse before retiring and was a member of Jakin Baptist Church. She was married to Roscoe Elmore DuPriest who preceded her in death in 1976. She leaves to cherish her memory one son, Roscoe Solomon "Sol" DuPriest, Sr. and his wife Diane of Donalsonville; two daughters, LaRue D. Baxley and her husband Ronny of Tallahassee, FL and Sondra D. Langford and her husband Herman of Donalsonville; one brother, Ralph A. Tipton of Chattahoochee, FL; two sisters, Vada Lesteen Andler of Panama City, FL and Rebecca T. Suber of Tallahassee, FL. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Melissa R. Baxley, Alicia D. Grant and her husband Chase, Adria D. DuPriest, Roscoe Solomon DuPriest, Jr. and his wife Sarah. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and several brothers and sisters. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Christian Children's Fund or American Heart Association. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
