CYNTHIA DORTCH PHELPS

We regret to announce the passing of Ms. Cynthia Dortch Phelps, age 54, who passed away on October 3, 2011 at her residence in Donalsonville. A private family memorial service for Ms. Dortch will be held Saturday,October 8, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Friendship Memorial Gardens. She was born in Mobile, AL on March 31, 1957 to Beatrice Dortch and the late Cecil Dortch. She was a member of the Donalsonville First Free Will Baptist Church and worked in delivering supplies to schools and institution vending machines. She is survived by her mother Beatrice Dortch of Donalsonville; two sons, Bobby Phelps and Jason Phelps and his wife Brittani, all of Montgomery, AL; daughter, Miranda Wilson of Donalsonville, GA; brothers, Roy Dortch, Buddy Dortch and Gary Dortch; sister, Jackie Thorpe; and grandchildren Ian Roberts, Conner Phelps and Emma Phelps. She was preceded in death by her father, Cecil Dortch and a sister, Sherry Delk. Evans-Skipper has been entrusted with the arrangements.
