JAMES HOWARD GLASS

We regret to announce the passing of Mr. James Howard Glass, age 64, of Bainbridge, GA who passed away Sunday, October 2, 2011 at his residence. Funeral services for Mr. Glass will be held on Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at 2:30 PM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Rev. James Scarborough officiating. Interment will follow in Corinth Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery in Iron City, GA. Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:15 PM on Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at the funeral home. Mr. Glass leaves to cherish his love and memory, step-sons, Bobby Byrd of Bainbridge, GA, Joe Bird of Lake Wells, FL, Larry Bird of Bainbridge, GA; brothers, Wayne Glass and his wife Terry of Ft. Myers, FL, and Lester Glass of Blakley, GA; neice, Sheila Marinell and her daughters Sabrina and Desiare Marinell all of Ft. Myers, FL; nephew, Scotty Glass; aunt, Cat Lashley of Bainbridge, GA. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Josh and Elizabeth Byrd of Colquitt, GA and Joey Dainels of Bainbridge, GA. Mr. Glass was preceded in death by his parents, James E. Glass and Ruth Dowling; a brother Bob Glass; and girlfriend, Hazel McClendon. Mr. James was very much loved and will be dearly missed. Casketbearers will be Scotty Glass, Heath Sherrer, Jeff Sherrer, Zack Taylor, Larry Bird and Michael Bailey. Honorary casketbearers will be Joey Daniels, Raymond Sherrer and Jeremy Mills. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
