We regret to announce the passing of Mr. Elmer Felton “Pee Wee” Dickerson, age 68, of Iron City, GA who passed away on September 13, 2011 in Moultrie, GA Funeral services for Mr. Dickerson will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2011 at 3:00 PM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville, GA with Rev. Wayne Sheffield officiating. Interment will follow in New Home Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Visitors can be received at 2218 Burl Lane Rd. Mr. Dickerson was born May 29, 1943 in Moultrie, GA to the late Elmer Dickerson and Vera Greer Dickerson. Mr. Dickerson worked as grocery manager at Piggly Wiggly. Mr. Dickerson is survived by his wife, Betty Dickerson of Iron City, GA; son, Shannon Dickerson and his wife Janet of Moultrie, GA; daughters, Elisha Chason of Moultrie, GA, April Simon and her husband Robbie of Moultrie, GA, and Crystal North; step-son, Leon McCormick and his wife Joanne of Cartersville, GA; step-daughter, Amy McCormick of Iron City, GA,; brother, Darrell Fate Dickerson and his wife Wilma of Universal City, TX; brothers-in-law, Ralph Roberts of Tucker, GA, Raymond Roberts of Sheridan, IN; sister-in-law, Alice Morris of Dothan, AL. Twelve grandchildren, Heather Chason, John Chason, Mallory Johnson, Devin Dickerson, Kammi Kenney, Taylor Phillips, Ashley Phillips, Courtney North, Austin North, Billy Graves, Courtney Graves, and Katie McCormick; two great grandchildren, Tristan Tillman, and Gage Kenney. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Casketbearers will be Roger Lane, Garland Evans, Ted Newberry, Weyman Buckhalter, Craig Dickerson, and Leon McCormick.
