We regret to announce the passing of Mr. Bennie Luther Baker, age 78, of Donalsonville, GA who passed away Friday, June 29, 2007 at Seminole Manor Nursing Home. Funeral services for Mr. Baker will be held on Monday, July 2, 2007 at the chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville, GA at 11:00 AM with interment to follow in Salem-Seminole Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Baker was born on January 18, 1929 in Seminole County, GA to the late Bogan and Winnie L. Faircloth Baker. He was engaged in agriculture for many years. Mr. Baker is survived by two sons, Fred Baker and Gary Baker and his wife Ana and a daughter, Vivian Vaughn and her husband William Pinion all of Iron City, GA; and a daughter, Amy Baker of Bartow, FL; three brothers, James Baker and his wife Beulah Frazier of Donalsonville, GA, Cullen Baker of Bainbridge, GA, and Sammy Joe Baker and his wife Faye of Jakin, GA; 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
