THELMA GRINER EARNEST

We regret to announce the passing of Mrs. Thelma Griner Earnest, age 77, of Sylvester and formerly of Donalsonville, GA who passed away Friday afternoon, June 22, 2007 at Sylvester Health Care. Funeral services for Mrs. Earnest will be held on Monday afternoon, June 25, 2007 at 3:00 PM at Salem-Seminole Baptist Church with Rev. Travis Free and Rev. Milton Harrison officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday evening, June 24, 2007 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville. She was involved in nursing and was a homemaker. She was married to Clyde Earnest who preceded her in death. Mrs. Earnest was a member of Salem-Seminole Baptist Church. Mrs. Earnest leaves to cherish her memory, three sons, C.E. Earnest, Jr. and his wife Mary of Donalsonville, GA, Frankie Earnest of Donalsonville, GA, and Bruce Earnest and his wife Tami of Sylvester, GA; one brother, Wiley Griner of Lakeland, FL; one sister, Loretta Barber of Jesup, GA; four grandchildren, Dewayne Earnest, Darrell Earnest, Miranda Earnest, and Abigail Earnest; three great grandchildren, Jessica Earnest, Marah Earnest, and Garrett Earnest. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Active pallbearers will be nephews Richard Griner, Jimmy Barber, Troy Helms, Stewart Earnest, Dale Griner, and Randy Earnest. Honorary pallbearers will be the remaining nephews. The family ask that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to Albany Community Hospice PO Box 1828 Albany, GA 31707.
