We regret to announce the passing of Mrs. Elaine Grant, age 61, of Donalsonville who passed away Friday, August 12, 2011 at her residence. Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 14, 2011 at 4:00 PM at Hammock Springs Freewill Baptist Church in Donalsonville, GA with Dr. Gary Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Friendship Memorial Gardens in Donalsonville, GA. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at Hammock Springs Freewill Baptist Church. Mrs. Grant was born in Donalsonville, GA on September 22, 1949 to the late Fred and Maxine Braswell Ingram. She graduated from Seminole County High School in 1967, and was a member of Hammock Springs Freewill Baptist; where she played the piano. She was a homemaker and also worked in the Clerk of Court in Seminole County. She is survived by her husband, Larry Grant of Donalsonville, GA; one brother, Terry Ingram and his wife Ellen of Montgomery, AL; two sisters, Carolyn Hogsed and her husband James of Lilburn, GA, Kathy Marshall and her husband David of Donalsonville, GA. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Casketbearers will be Andy Dukes, Bobby Dukes, Ben Ingram, Jake Marshall, Clint Mims, Greg Mims, Willard Mims and Jeremy Roberts. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions can be made to Hammock Springs Freewill Baptist Church in Donalsonville, GA Evans-Skipper Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
