MATTHEW ALAN CANNON

We regret to announce the passing of Mr. Matthew Alan Cannon, age 24, of Jakin, GA who passed away Thursday morning, June 21, 2007 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan. Graveside services will be held on Friday afternoon, June 22, 2007 at 5:00 PM at Jakin City Cemetery in Jakin, GA with Rev. Tim Bell officiating. Interment willl follow. He graduated from Early County High School in 2001 and was a student and engaged in farming with his father. Mr. Cannon was a member of Jakin Baptist Church. Matthew leaves to cherish his memory, his parents, Carey and Terrie Cannon of Jakin, GA; his fiancee, Jamie Swanner of Jakin, GA; his maternal grandfather, A.J. Gentry of Blakely, GA; his paternal grandparents, Bill and Joyce Hughes of Hartford, AL; an aunt, Jackie Brown and her husband John of Blakely, GA; an uncle, Carroll Cannon and his wife Patsie of TyTy, GA; as well as several loving cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Mattie Gentry and paternal grandparents, Jack and Dorothy Cannon.
