We regret to announce the passing of Marvin Eugene "Gene" Ingram, age 85 of Donalsonville, GA who passed away Wednesday, June 20, 2007 at Bainbridge Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 22, 2007 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Rev. Donna Bevels officiating. Interment will follow in the Friendship Cemetery in Donalsonville, GA. Visitation will be held Thursday, June 21, from 7:00 -9:00 PM at Evans-Skipper. Mr. Ingram was born in Seminole County on June 20, 1922 to the late Marvin and Pearl Strickland Ingram. He served his country in the US army and was a member of First Church of God in Bainbridge. He was a farmer and a livestock hauler. Mr. Ingram leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 58 years, Bertha Morris Ingram of Donalsonville, GA, three daughters, Jerome I. Allen of Bainbridge, GA, Nancy Ingram of Donalsonville, GA and Lily I. Weaver and her husband Dennis of Bainbridge, GA, one sister, Evelyn I. Jones and her husband Buck of Jakin,GA. He is also survived by a grandson, Brandon Weaver and his wife Mandy of Bainbridge. GA. Pallbearers will be Flowers accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Fellowship Baptist Church, Building Fund or First Church of God, 501 Russ St., Bainbridge, GA 39819. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
