We regret to announce the passing of Cindy Cannon Trawick, age 45, of Donalsonville, GA who passed away Saturday, August 6, 2011 at Flowers Hospital in Dothan, AL. Funeral services for Ms. Trawick will be held Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at 11: 00 AM at Oakview Church of God in Donalsonville, GA with Rev. Mylan Brookins officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 10:00 AM at Oakview Church of God in Donalsonville, GA. She was born in Pensacola, FL on December 27, 1965 to the late Helen Brookins Dick and James Robert Cannon, Sr. Ms. Trawick was a graduate of SCHS where she was a majorette in the Green Machine Marching Band. She had also been an active member of the Alumni Band. She began working at Three Notch Electric in August of 1988 as a cashier before moving to the Billing Dept as a Billing Clerk. Ms. Trawick later moved to the Engineering Dept., working as a Drafter Assistant for the remainder of her 22 years as a Three Notch employee. She is survived by one sister, Denise Bonner and her husband Monroe of Donalsonville, GA; one brother, James R. Cannon, Jr. and his wife Nyki of Brinson, GA; special friend, Jason Todd Watson of Dothan, AL; two nephews Brad Bonner and his wife April of Donalsonville, GA and James Cannon, III of Brinson, GA; two great nieces, Cadance and Gabby Bonner; and her step-father, John Dick, Sr. of Donalsonville, GA. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother, Helen Brookins Dick; her father, James Robert Cannon, Sr.; and her daughter, Ansley Trawick. Active casketbeareres will be Greg Whittaker, Howard Whittaker, Dean Brookins, Brian Brookins, Scott Brookins,Brad Bonner, and Greg Davis. Honorary casketbearers will be Employees of Three Notch Electric; Dave Whittaker and Bob Brookins. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Ansley Trawick Scholarship Fund % Seminole County Middle High School or Peoples South Bank. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
