Jean Brown Miller

We regret to announce the passing of Mrs. Jean Brown Miller, age 67, of Jakin who passed away July 21, 2011 at Flowers Hospital in Dothan, AL. Funeral services will be held Sunday, June 24, 2011 at 3:00 PM at Jakin Baptist Church in Jakin, GA with Dr. Johnny Roberts and Rev. Henry Johnson officating. Interment will follow at Jakin City Cemetery in Jakin, GA. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 2:00 PM at Jakin Baptist Church. Mrs. Miller was born on April 21, 1944 to the late J.G. and Ruth Grimes Brown. She was a member of Jakin Baptist Church and was a homemaker. She loved reading, flowers and pets. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband Johnny Miller of Jakin, GA; three daughters, Debbie Dillard and her husband Wesley of Dothan, AL; Jodi Jones and Jennifer Johnson both of Jakin, GA; two brothers, Ronnie Brown of Donalsonville, GA and Joe Brown of Albany, GA; one sister, Margie Johnson and her husband Bob of Powell, TN. She is also survived by six grandchildren; Sarah Jones, Lauren Jones, John Jones, Victoria Dillard, Nicolas Hatcher and Ian Hatcher. She was preceded in death by her parents, J.G. and Ruth Grimes Brown. Casketbearers will be Joey Brown, Jason Brown, Jeff Miller, Stacy Miller, Steve McClellan and Steve Moulton.
