Madge Barber

We regret to announce the passing of Mrs. Madge Barber, age 92, of Donalsonville, GA who passed away May 28, 2011 at Seminole Manor Nursing Home in Donalsonville, GA Funeral services for Mrs. Barber will be held May 31, 2010 in the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Rev. Eric Boomer and Rev. Scott Messer officiating. Interment will follow in Friendship Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 30, 2010 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Evans-Skipper Funeral Home. She was born in Savannah, GA on August 24, 1918 to Edward William and Sarah Jane Tatum Dowling. She was a member Trinity Methodist Church in Savannah, GA and worked as a secretary at Franklin Corporation. She is survived by her niece, Jackie and her husband Paul Adams of Donalsonville, GA, and numerous nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward William and Sarah Jane Tatum Dowling, and husband, Marvin Barber. Casketbearers will be Mike Adams, Rusty Adams, Joe Loyless, Edward Whittaker, Brandon Hornsby, and Paul Adams. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
