DANIEL WEBSTER MCCLAIN, JR., AGE 69, OF DOTHAN, AL AND FORMERLY OF DONALSONVILLE, GA WHO PASSED AWAY MONDAY, MAY 9, 2011 AT SOUTHEAST ALABAMA MEDICAL CENTER IN DOTHAN, AL. FUNERAL SERVICES FOR MR. MCCLAIN WILL BE HELD ON WEDNESDAY, MAY 11, 2011 AT 2:00 PM AT FRIENDSHIP UNITED METHODIST CHURCH IN DONALSONVILLE, GA WITH REV. PHILLIP COLLINS AND REV. CHARLES DENNIS OFFICIATING. INTERMENT WILL FOLLOW IN FRIENDSHIP CEMETERY. VISITATION WILL BE HELD ON TUESDAY EVENING, MAY 10, 2011 FROM 6:00-8:00 PM AT THE CHAPEL OF EVANS-SKIPPER FUNERAL HOME IN DONALSONVILLE, GA. MR. McLAIN WAS BORN IN EARLY CO., GA ON DECEMBER 12, 1941 TO THE LATE DANIEL WEBSTER McLAIN, SR. AND ETHEL WALKER McLAIN. HE HAD WORKED IN THE MAINTENANCE SERVICES DEPT AT GEORGIA PACIFIC AS WELL AS THE DONALSONVILLE HOSPITAL. MR. McLAIN ENJOYED WORKING WITH SPECIAL NEEDS CHILDREN AND HELPING THE HOMELESS. HE WAS A MEMBER OF TABERNACLE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH IN TAYLOR, AL. MR. McLAIN LEAVES TO CHERISH HIS MEMORY HIS WIFE, DEBBIE JOHNSON McLAIN OF DOTHAN, AL; TWO SONS, STEPHEN DANIEL McLAIN AND HIS WIFE STEPHANIE OF DOTHAN, AL AND CHRISTOPHER LARRY McLAIN OF DOTHAN, AL; A STEPSON, LEE ROGERS OF DOTHAN, AL; A BROTHER, DONALD McLAIN AND HIS WIFE KAREN OF LEESBURG, GA; AND THREE GRANDCHILDREN, TAYLOR, BROOKE, AND MADISON McLAIN. HE IS ALSO SURVIVED BY NUMEROUS NIECES AND NEPHEWS. MR. McLAIN WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HIS PARENTS, DANIEL WEBSTER McLAIN, SR. AND ETHEL WALKER McLAIN, AS WELL AS THREE BROTHERS, JERRY McLAIN, STERLING McLAIN, AND BILLY McLAIN.
