We regret to announce the passing of Mrs. Marie Helms Anglin, age 84, of Donalsonville, GA who passed away Friday, April 22, 2011 at Donalsonville Hospital. Funeral services for Mrs. Anglin will be held on Monday, April 25, 2011, at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny Taylor and Rev. Jerome Harbert officiating. Interment will follow in Friendship Memorial Gardens in Donalsonville, GA. Visitation will be held on Sunday evening, April 24, 2011 from 6:00-8:00 PM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home. Mrs.Anglin was born in Donalsonville, GA on April 11, 1927 to the late Jessie Abner and Rosada Baker Helms. She was a member of Oakview Church of God and a homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with her family and sewing. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Marvin Anglin of Donalsonville, GA; a son, Buddy Anglin and his wife Priscilla of Claxton, GA; a daughter, Patsy Hand of Headland, AL; two brothers, Billy Helms of Sumter, SC and Bobby Helms and his wife Geneva of Daleville, AL; two sisters, Ruby Jackson and her companion Benny Gaylord of Webb, AL and Yvette Reeder of Tallahassee, FL; three grandchildren, Rebekah Hand, Janis Bowman and her husband Rick, and Aaron Anglin. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie Abner and Rosada Baker Helms; a sister, Evelyn Pritchard; and a grandson, Eugene Hand. Active pallbearers will be Bill Barrineau, Jeffery Braswell, Brandon Josey, Jeremy Mackey, Mike Shafer, and Rusty Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be Cody Hawkins, Bubba Helms, and Bert Jackson
