We regret to announce the passing of Juanita Regan Bowen Josey, age 82, of Blakely, GA who passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2007. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 12, 2007 at 10:00 AM at Jakin Baptist Church with Rev. Gary Helms and Rev. Herman Enfinger. Interment will follow at Flat Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Colquitt, GA. Visitation will be held Friday, May 11, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Evans-Skipper Funeral Home. Mrs. Josey was born in Early County on August 13, 1924 to the late John Howard and Lessie White Regan. She was a seamstress and homemaker who loved the Lord, her family, and working in her yards. She was a member of Jakin Baptist Church. She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Patsy Ward and her husband Ernest of Woodstock, GA; Betty Miller and her husband Jerry of Jakin, GA; one brother, Sidney Regan and his wife Martha of Spanish Fort, AL; four sisters, Belle Herring of Donalsonville, GA; Wynell Kirkland of Haines City, FL; Jewell Buckhalter of Jakin, GA; Hazel Flamiano and her husband Jerry of Petersburg, VA; one sister-in-law, Emily Regan of Blakely, GA. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Vinson Alton (Bo) Bowen, her second husband, John Josey and a brother Howard Carlton Regan. Pallbearers will be Ernie Ward, Matthew Ward, Chris Osborn, Jeff Miller, Stacy Miller and Steve McClellan.
