We regret to announce the passing of Mrs. Patricia “Faye” Helms Jordan, age 67, of Bascom, FL who passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at Campbellton-Graceville Hospital surrounded by her family after a long illness. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at 11:00 AM (CST) at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens in Marianna, FL with Rev. Jacky Register officiating. Mrs. Jordan was born in Donalsonville, GA on March 18, 1944 to Agnes Weston Helms and the late Calvin Helms. She was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church and had been part of the Hickory Grove Baptist Church for many years. She retired from GA Pacfic after working as a fork-lift operator for 24 years. She is survived by two sons Steve Jordan and his wife Pam, who she loved like a daughter, of Bascom; FL; Ken Jordan and his wife Arle’ of Nashville, TN, her mother Agnes Helms; sister, Sandy Helms and Grady Cloud all of Bascom; grandsons, Clayton Jordan and Bridget and Adam Jordan and Miranda; Baily Jordan of MN and Max Jordan of Nashville, TN and granddaughters, Ansley Jordan of MN and Marianna Jordan of TN; great grandson Trenton Jordan and great granddaughters Chloe and Natalie Jordan; sister-in-law Peggy and Lamar Blackburn and family all of Bascom, FL; two life-long friends Launa Howard of Marianna, FL and Linda Adams of Donalsonville, GA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Archie Jordan; father, Calvin Helms, brothers Gene and Ronnie Helms. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
