We regret to announce the passing of Mrs. Bessie Miller Dawson, age 88, of Iron City, GA who passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2011 at Seminole Manor Nursing Home in Donalsonville, GA. Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 10, 2011 at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville, GA with Rev. Jimmy Walton officiating. Interment will follow in Corinth Cemetery in Iron City, GA. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville, GA. Mrs. Dawson was born in Iron City, GA on February 25, 1923 to the late Jeff and Arrie Drake Miller She was a member of Unity Church of God and and a homemaker. She is survived by a sister, Susie Middleton of Iron City, GA; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jeff and Arrie Drake Miller; her husband, Edgar Dawson and several brothers and sisters. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
