LILLIAN EASTERWOOD

We regret to announce the passing of Mrs. Lillian Easterwood, age 74, of Iron City, GA who passed away Monday, March 7, 2011 at her residence. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 9, 2011, at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Rev. James Miller officiating. Interment will be held at Brinson City Cemetery in Brinson, GA. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesday, March 8, 2011, at Evans-Skipper Funeral Home. Mrs. Easterwood was born in Donalsonville, GA on February 22, 1937 to the late Ralph and Odester King Stinson. She attended Iron City Baptist Church and retired from Bainbridge State Hospital in 1997. She leaves to cherish her memory a daughter, Ginger Hand and her husband Billy Gene of Iron City, GA; two grandsons, Mark Powell of Iron City, GA and Michael Powell and his wife Jana of Brinson, GA; and four great grandchildren, Ivy Powell and Landre Powell of Donalsonville, GA, and Savannah and Logan Powell of Brinson, GA. She is also survived by one brother, Cecil Stinson and his wife Wanda of Iron City, GA; one aunt, Jeanette Easterwood of Iron City, GA; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Odester King Stinson; her husband, Emory Easterwood; and one sister, Elease Coker. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
