We regret to announce the passing of Mrs. Priscilla “Prissy” Denise Whittaker, age 40, of Bainbridge, GA who passed away Friday, February 25, 2011 at Archbold Medical Center in Thomasville, GA. Funeral services for Mrs. Whittaker will be held on Monday, February 28, 2011, at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville, GA with Rev. David Grubbs and Rev. Chad Palmer officiating. A private family burial will follow in Roselawn Memory Gardens in Bainbridge, GA. Visitation will be held on Sunday evening, February 27, 2011 from 5:00-7:00 PM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home. Mrs.Whittaker was born in Bainbridge, GA on December 9, 1970 to Donald Vincent Spooner, Sr. and Mary L. Spooner. She attended First Church of the Nazarene of Bainbridge, GA and was the former owner and operator of Polka Dots in Bainbridge. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Brandon Whittaker of Bainbridge, GA; her father, Donald Vincent Spooner of Bainbridge, GA; her mother, Mary L. Brackin of Iron City, GA; her maternal grandmother, Opal Larson of Bainbridge, GA; a son, Brandon Whittaker, Jr. and his wife Carah of Bainbridge, GA; two daughters, Brittany M. Whittaker of Bainbridge, GA and Ashley N. Whittaker and her fiance Stacey Ingram of Bainbridge, GA; a brother, Donald Vincent Spooner, Jr of Bainbridge, GA; a sister, Melissa Brackin of Iron City, GA; and a nephew, Daniel Spooner of Bainbridge, GA. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Guss and Ruth Spooner. Active casketbearers will be Jimmy Palmer, David D. Donalson, Nick Jeter, Benny Hayes, Jeff Wimberly, and David Brantley. Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Elrod, Travis Jackson, Mark Zorn, and Billy Lane.
