Ruby White Kelley

Mrs. Ruby Mae White Kelley, age 100, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at Seminole Manor Nursing Home. Mrs. Kelley was born in Ashford, AL on August 20, 1911 to the late Benjamin Wiley and Donie Goff White and lived most of her life in Miller County, GA. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, “Mema” and great-grandmother. Mrs. Kelley had been employed by the Miller County School System as a Dietary and Nutrition Specialist and was a faithful member of Union Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at 10:00 AM on Friday, February 25, 2011 at Union Baptist Church. Immediately following the visitation, the Celebration of Life service will begin at 11:00 AM with Dr. Calvin Arnold officiating. Interment will be held privately at Primitive Union Cemetery in Colquitt, GA. Mrs. Ruby leaves a legacy of love to her survivors, Sons, Max Kelley and his wife Jenell, and James "Bunk" Kelley; Grandchildren, Deanna Kelley Kirkland and Jamey Kelley and his wife Debbie; her Great-Grandchilderen, Michael Rusgrove and his wife Emily and Jalin Kelley; Great-Great Grandchildren, Caroline Rusgrove, Alison and Noah Kelley. Her memory will also be cherished by numerous nieces, nephews and friends. . Mrs. Ruby was preceded in Heaven by her parents,Benjamin Wiley White and Donie Goff White; her husband, Bruton F. Kelley; her brothers and sisters, Harvey White and his wife Margueritte, Walter White, Don White and his wife Vera, Travis White and his wife Myrtis, Robbie White Gruber and her husband Ervin, and Darby White and his wife Loyce..
