We regret to announce the passing of Mrs. Kathleen Cowart Dent, age 92, of Ft. Walton Beach FL, formerly of Donalsonville, GA who passed away on Friday, February 11, 2011 in Ft. Walton Beach, FL. Graveside services will be held Monday, February 14, 2011 at 3:00 PM at Friendship Cemetery in Donalsonville, GA with Dr. Ron McCaskill officiating. Mrs. Dent was born in Donalsonville, GA on October 9, 1918 to the late Harley A. and Sallie Virginia Moye Cowart. She was a very active member of First Baptist Church as long as her health would allow. A Registered Nurse working at the Donalsonville Hospital for many years and was an avid reader. She is survived by one daughter, Tanya Pelham and her husband Ron of Ft. Walton Beach FL; one grandchild, Keith Grimes of Ft. Walton Beach, FL. Special thanks to the staff of Covenant Hospice and Sally, Andrea and Vanda. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harley A. and Sallie Virginia Moye Cowart; two brothers and three sisters. Casketbearers will be Troy Palmer, Joe Burke, Farish Mulkey, Rome Etheridge, John Gray and Chris Thomas. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
