EDWINA SMITH

We regret to announce the passing of Edwina B. Smith, age 60, of Colquitt and formerly of Donalsonville, GA who passed away Saturday, April 14, 2007 at the Miller County Nursing Home. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, April 17, 2007 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville with the Rev. Tim Bell officiating. Burial will follow at Salem-Seminole Baptist Church Cemetery in Donalsonville, GA. Visitation will be held Monday, April 16, from 7:00-9:00 PM at Evans-Skipper Funeral Home. Mrs. Smith was born in Seminole County on October 11, 1946 to the late Edward and Dorothy Nell Glass Brackin. She was a homemaker and was married to Burnice John Smith who preceded her in death. She is survived by two sons, Clint Smith and his wife Teresa of Donalsonville and Ricky Smith and his wife Lisa of Colquitt; one daughter, Tracy Dollar and her husband Hardy of Colquitt, GA., and a special friend, Thomas Drake. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Peggy Thompson and her husband Michael, Colt Smith, Kayla Burke, Victoria Smith and Austin Dollar. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and one sister, Nell Hutto. Active pallbearers will be J.R. McMillan, Bill Barrineau, Chris Wilson, Tim Dickens, Shannon Hutto, and Tommy West. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
