We regret to announce the passing of Mrs. Eunice Toole Cowart Cook, age 80, of Iron City, GA who passed away on January, 18, 2011 at her daughter’s home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 22, 2011 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Dr. Ron McCaskill officiating. Burial will follow in the City Cemetery in Colquitt, GA. Visitation will be held Friday, January 21, 2011 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Evans-Skipper Funeral Home. Mrs. Cook was born in Jakin, GA on February 9, 1930 to the late Oscar Toole and Lula Mae Philman Toole. She was a homemaker. She is survived by four daughters, Veda Bellflower of Bainbridge, GA; Joanne Morris and her husband Randy; Gwen Hurley and her husband Buster; Brenda Hunter and her husband Ray all of Iron City, GA; one sister, Lessie Young of Blakely, GA; three sons, Wayne Cowart and his wife Brenda of Iron City, GA; Gene Cowart and his wife Brenda; Stanley Cowart and his wife, Susan both of Colquitt, GA; She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar Toole and Lula Mae Philman Toole, father of her children, Aristo Cowart; her second husband, Ira Lamar Cook; two sons, Barry Lee Cowart; Jimmy Toole and a son-in-law Jimmy Bellflower. Evans-Skipper is in charge of the arrangements.
