We regret to announce the passing of Mrs. Myrtle Elizebeth Robinson Young, age 66, of Donalsonville, GA who passed away January 17, 2011 at her residence. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 21, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Hebrew Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Andy Merritt officiating. Burial to follow at Hebrew Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 20, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Evans-Skipper Funeral Home. Mrs. Young was born in Donalsonville, GA on July 30, 1944 to the late Otho Benton and Bunice Marie Clark Robinson. She was a member of Hebrew Freewill Baptist Church, Ladies Auxiliary at Hebrew, Friendship Club and Widowers of Grace. She will be remembered by writing the columns for Desser Dots N Dashes and Senior Center News for many years. Among all her activities she was also a homemaker and sold Avon. She leaves to cherish her memory one son, Robert Faron Young and his wife Chastity of Colquitt, GA; six daughters, Susan Young of Whittier, NC; Loretta Kitchens and her husband Robert of Donalsonville, GA; Krista Young of Tallahassee, FL; Dawn Young of Donalsonville, GA; Lynn Young of Bartow, FL; Connie McGee and her husband Steve of Colville, WA; four brothers, Douglas Robinson of N. J.; Eddie Wayne Robinson of N.J.; Lamar Robinson of N.J. and Jimmy Robinson of N.J.; two sisters, Ann Stoler and her husband Barry of Kissimmee, FL; Kathy Lomineck and her husband Robert of Eldorendo, GA; She is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded by her parents, Otho Benton and Bunice Marie Clark Robinson; her husband, Robert Hayden Young, Jr.; four brothers, Gene Robinson, Curtis Robinson, J.T. Robinson and Ronnie Robinson. Casketbearers will be Anthony Young, Kristopher Young, Justin McGee, J.R. Myers, Dylan Brock and Justin Sharette. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
