We regret to announce the passing of Mr. Roger Dale Williams, age 58, of Colquitt, GA who passed away Friday, January. 7, 2011 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan, AL. Funeral services for Mr. Williams will be held on Sunday, January 9, 2011 at 3:00 PM at New Home Freewill Baptist Church in Colquitt, GA with burial to follow in the church cemetery with Rev. Benjamin Miller officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday evening, January 8, 2011 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville, GA. . Roger was born on May 29, 1952 to Nelda Lawhorne Williams and the late Thomas Williams. He was a 1970 graduate of Miller County High School and attended Albany Tech in Albany, GA. A member of New Home Freewill Baptist Church, and owned and operated Williams TV in Donalsonville for many years. He leaves to cherish his memory his son, Tony Williams and his wife Joni his mother, Nelda Lawhorne Williams; two sisters, Alice Worsley and her husband Allen and Lynn Johnson and her husband Stan all of Colquitt, GA. He was preceded in his father, Thomas Williams. Casketbearers will be Clark Melton, Aaron Williams, Bryon Moulton, Bobby Moulton, Wendell Cox, Ron Arnold, Bert Williams and Mitchell Austin. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
